Microsoft Power Automate Essentials

Overview

The goal of this course is to provide you with the knowledge to create and work with Power Automate. The course will emphasise hands-on experience, with a series of self-guided exercises integrated into the training.
You will discover how to access and use Power Automate as a citizen developer to automate and manage business processes.
This course will help you meet the following objectives:
  • Understand what Power Automates is and how it works
  • Build flows from existing templates
  • Build flows from scratch
  • Understand how to work with triggers, actions and conditions
  • Work with approvals

Prerequisites

This course requires delegates to meet the following prerequisites:

  • A basic understanding of Windows 7 or later versions
  • Experience using a web browser
  • A general knowledge of using Office 365
  • Some basic knowledge of programming and HTML is useful but not essential

Please Note: If you attend a course and do not meet the prerequisites you may be asked to leave.

Instructors will demonstrate features throughout the event. Optional Lab exercises are available for students to complete within a delegate created free trial tenancy. Microsoft may require a valid credit card to create 30 day free tenancies which must be cancelled within 30 days to avoid incurring charges. QA have no control over the Microsoft 365 trial tenancy signup or billing process.
